As it prepared for the elections of 1872 and Grant's run for a second term, it issued this piece of campaign literature in an attempt to refute the charges. An untrimmed, unopened (uncut) single folio leaf, edges soiled, fore edge with a few small tears, rear leaves creased, overall still about very good.
