The Logbook describing the second expedition (commanded by Colonel S. W. Kearny) was first printed in the Spirit of the Times from December 27, 1845 to May 30, 1846." Howes 146. Tiny bump to corner else a fine crisp copy in good solid slipcase worn through at the corners.
