Hall's first wife Sarah, died only nine months after their wedding. The letter refers to an invotation to dine with J. Walker Esq, and friends, unfortunately Hall could not attend, but he offered Walker the chance if he was passing through Derby to visit him. Book measures 7 x 4 1/2 inches. Collation, viii,395pp, engraved frontis, and title. Bound in original publishers blue gilt cloth. Cloth rubbed on edges and corners with some wear loss. Binding i good condition. Internally, pages in good clean condition. A nice copy. A7.3. Very Good. Signed by Author.
