Bound in period full mottled calf, raised bands, leather title labels, full coloured edges, marble endpapers. Calf lightly rubbed, short splits on hinge joints, but boards firmly attached. Internally, engraved throughout with portrait, titles with architectural frames, text with decorative head- & tail-pieces and 138 plates/full-page illustrations (2 folding, 2 double-page), privilege leaf at end, light marginal water-stain to portrait in vol.1 and final few leaves in vol.2, vol.1 title lightly soiled. A very nice copy, in very attractive contemporary bindings. F. Very Good.
