Book measures 19.5x13.5.cm. xxiv, 384pp, 2 folding plates, 4 single pages plates, including frontis. Bound in full period mottled calf, flat gilt bands, ornate gilt tooling. Calf rubbed, some wear, with loss. Generally binding in good clean firm condition. Internally, lacking front free endpaper, single worm hole to about 30 pages, 1 plate and 14 pages, have single track worming to bottom margin, slightly affectiing title of plate, not affecting text. Pages and plates in good condition. Being solid as a defective volume. Near Very Good.
