Bound in full period calf, raised bands, gilt fleur-de-lis, full coloured edges, marble endpapers. Calf rubbed, some abrasion wear. Generally a very nice binding. Internally, name/date 1733?, in ink, scribbled-out. Pages in good clean condition throughout. A very nice copy, in an attractive period binding. Account of an imaginary journey to the island of the hermaphrodites, a satire on the effeminacy of members of the French court of Henri III. Near Very Good.
