Bound in period or early half calf, calf corners, cloth boards, raised bands, elaborate gilt tooling within compartments, marble endpapers. Calf light marked along hinge joints, a copule of minor scuff marks. Binding in good clean firm condition. Internally, some persistant light foxing or spotting, some light staining to plates, mainly to margins, a few plates more heavily stained. Generally pages in good condition throughout. A good copy, in a very attractive binding. A1. Near Very Good.
