A set of twelve stunning Christmas crackers in original colourful decorated wrappers, housed in the original decorated paper box (24.5 x 31 cm) with a label on upper cover featuring a Spanish-style "clown". The crackers are wrapped in red glossy paper with labels depicting different festive costumes and have frilled decorated paper ends. A few with small paper cracks but overall in very good condition. A printed label pasted on verso of upper cover reads: "By Appointments to their Majesties the King & Queen. Tom Smith's Espanola Spanish Crackers. The crackers contain Spanish Head-dresses, including Toreadors, and a selection of Novelties in Toys, Jewels, and Curios, also Spanish Love Verses and translations".
