Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941), renowned Bengali poet, novelist, educator and composer has been considered to be the greatest writer in modern Indian literature. Tagore won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913 as the first Asian recipient. A charming decorative set of Tagore's Bengali poetry, the first translations into Hungarian. The beautiful covers with Indian-style ornamentation are designed by çlmos Jaschik (1885-1950), a renowned Hungarian graphic artist and scenic designer.
