Fine. - An original pen & ink drawing consisting of 3 panels drawn on 7-1/8 inch high by 17 inch wide Bristol board. Drawn and inked by Mike Marland, the strip portrays a neighbot commenting that it will take Sim "forever to clean out the punkin guts!" from his giant pumpkin in order to make a Jack-o-lantern. Sim has worked out a clever solution which he explains to his neighbor "I put a pig in there!" Signed "Marland" along the outline of the pumpkin in the last panel with the date "10.23.06" inked in the bottom margin along the left of the first panel. The syndicate's credits, printed on a strip of paper, are mounted between the two panels. The strip is additionally signed in full by Mike Marland in blue ink next to the date. Near fine. A wonderful commentary on the farmer's life. R.F.D. is a weekly comic strip about the Pool family, owners of Poole's Dairy Farm, and their life in the rural New Hampshire town of Smithfield. Fine .
