Each of the seven stages identified as coming together in the finished production is illustrated by a different artist on a different Simpson stock with two artists illustrating "Costume and Make-up". The artists are Lauren Uram, Gary Kelley, Kathy L. Keppler, Eduardo Sicango, Roger Boehm, Alan Klien, Robert Baker and Barbara Maslen with the cover illustration by Susan Greenstein.
