Description: Tundra Books, [1998]. [1998]. - An original 20 inch high by 16 inch wide poster advertising Tundra Books' publication of Cary Fagan's children's book "Gogol's Coat". The poster is beautifully illustrated with Regolo Ricci's color cover illustration portraying young Gogol in his new coat fleeing a sinister figure hiding behind the decorated arches of a bridge. A dog is playfully prancing at Gogol's side. Boldly titled at the top, the publisher's credits "Tundra Books - McClelland & Stewart Young Readers" is printed as a banner along the bottom below the smaller device crediting "The Canada Council for the Arts". There are minor creases, else near fine.

The Canadian artist and children's book illustrator Regolo Ricci (born 1955) was nominated for the Canada Council for the Arts Governor General's Award for Children's Book Illustration in 2000. Very good .
