Brown cloth titled and decorated in gilt on the spine with formal and floral decorations in blind on the covers. The covers are rubbed with slight wear to the corners and head & tail of the spine. 72 pages, illustrated with 28 engravings, mostly half-page, one at the head of each chapter, and 6 pictorial tail-pieces. An early owner's inscription is penned on the front endpaper. There is foxing throughout. Good.
