The Foreword to the book consists of an interview with Federico Fellini by the author. Meglin considers the work of twelve illustrators: Sergio Aragones, Paul Coker, Jack Davis, Mort Drucker, Gerry Gersten, Johnny Hart, Allan Jaffee, Bob Jones, Donald Reilly, Norman Rockwell, Arnold Roth and Maurice Sendak.

Laid in is a carbon copy of a review of the book by pressman Fridolf Johnson. Very good .
