Full-page color illustrations on the inside wraps & half-page color illustrations & decorations on each text page. Very good.

A gift inscription on the title page is signed "Grandma & Grandpa Lauber / Odessa, Russia / September 24, 1969." On the rear cover is a lyrical note on the charms of the Ukraine, "one of the 15 equal and free republics within the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics". Very good .
