Volume has been re-jointed non-professionally using non-matching leather onto which the original spine cover has been glued with additional strips of replacement leather placed over spine to give an "appearance" of a six-banded spine. Binding is holding soundly, one holding pin is missing from clasp, pages, plates and end-papers are clean. Crease across plaint title-page. Contains black and white frontis (full page illustration facing title-page) and black and white plates (full page illustrations). No dust jacket, as published. Undated by publisher.
