Hutchison (his lifelong friend). A very strange book, which presents Kitchener as the saviour and light of England, and which was apparently dictated from beyond the grave. A somewhat partisan eulogy for a man who had no funeral. Small volume with blue covers and dark brown lettering, cloth has lifted and rippled on the front but no signs of damp, sound binding, darkened end-papers, some foxing to prelims, pages are othyerwise clean.
