All eight plates are present, bound not at the places given in the "directions to the Binder", the actual locations are shown in pencil on this last page. Covers are well rubbed with tear at the head of the spine and wear on all corners. Binding is generally sound but occasional pages are partially detached. There is damage from a spill from the start to page 320 in the lower margin adjacent to the gutter, this is mainly confined to the lower margin but pages 265 to 272 have loss of text in the lower gutter corner. Pages are darkened with some smudges. Previous owner's name at the front, book plate has been removed from inside of front cover. xiii, (1), (15-782, (1). One volume of the 1-volume set.
