The book has been used; oval stamp of Millport Marine Biological Station at top of front board. but there are no other ownership or library marks. The thick card boards have been covered with a clear adhesive sleeve with a green taped spine with handwritten titling and a shelf number. Contains 12 original floral displays original pressed flowers fromTerre Sainte, Jerusalem, Mount Sion Gethsemane Rachel's tomb, Bethlehem etc. The original floral displays are largely intact though faded after 165 years. Owners name Ruby Blair North bank Glen Coig dated Aug '55 opposite title page. The binding is a bit slack with cracked hinges. The plates are toned and there are finger marks. One tissue guard is missing and the cloth gilt titled spine has been crudely repaired but remarkably intact overall. See scans. . Fair
