Heavily foxed throughout. Textblock remains tight. "By the author of 'The Travelling Sixpence,' 'Lost and Rescued,' Etc." (title page). 2pp publisher's listing at rear: "The 'Little Dot' Series. / New Sixpenny Books". Printed by "Knight, Printer, Bartholomew Close" in London.

Boards with decorative stamp in black, top cover lettered in gilt (spine was once lettered in gilt as well; gilt now scarcely present, with only blind-stamp remaining). Boards with wear, rubbed; spine darkened. Internally lightly dirtied, mostly at margins. Colour frontispiece. Binding a little shaken; starting at first blanco, remaining secure. Free of marginalia, underlining, or any other such blemishes. Printed by the Gresham Press, Unwin Brothers. An uncommon diminutive title.

Beautiful copy.
