Minor toning to the covers. Light wrinkling. Very Good .

A collection of black and white comic strip cartoons reflecting, humorously, on life in the army during World War I, many featuring a Private Dubb. Some of these may have appeared in McClure newspapers in 1917 (based on copyright notices in some of the strips). GOOD+ condition with moderate to heavy darkening to the boards, heaviest along the spine. Some soiling, scuffing and minor staining to the boards. Extremities bumped and scuffed with the corners worn. Front hinge starting, with the rear hinge weakened. Text block clean and solid with general toning to the paper. A front endpaper appears to be missing. Ill.: Crosby, P.L. Good/No Jacket.
