Martha Wright in the Award Winning Musical the Sound of Music
New York, Program Publishing Company, 1959. Paperback. 4to. Stiff glazed color pictorial wrappers. 20pp. Numerous illustrations. Very good. Bit of edgewear. Tight, nice early program for this production. Interestingly and amusing, the inner front wrapper photograph showing a seated Wright surrounded by authors Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse and composer and lyricist Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II is clearly NOT Wright! The photograph presumably depicted one of Wright's predecessors in the role, and Wright's head was simply superimposed onto this image when she assumed the Maria von Trapp role. .

The Medical News: A Weekly Medical Journal -- Volume XLVII (July-December 1885)
Philadelphia, Lea Brothers & Co, 1885. Hardcover. Small 4to. Quarter black calf with gilt spine lettering and green marbled paper over boards. 24pp. Good. Though internally a tight and nice "Very good," there's a large chip at tail of spine, a couple of the calf corners are quite rough and the marbled paper is heavily rubbed; rear flyleaf an expert contemporary replacement. A tight and decent copy of this highly-regarded standard, begun in 1843 and continuing until 1905. Contributors to this issue include Austin Flint, Samuel W. Gross, A.B. Isham, William Osler and James Paget. .

Meine Schönsten Kinderlieder Mit Gitarrenbegleitung
N.p. N.p. 1983. Hardcover. 4to. Glossy red pictorial paper over boards. 63pp. Numerous color illustrations. Very good. Faintest edgewear. A tight, attractive copy of this bibliographically-challenged text of words and music, entirely in German, title translation "My Favorite Children's Songs with Guitar Accompaniment." Kapp-Verlag in Benshein, Germany published this title in blue pictorial paper over boards in 1983, so apparently this is a cryptic reprint of some sort. .
