The Jaques Family. Descendants of Henry Jaques who settled in Newbury, Massachusetts 1638.
Rev. John Y. Broek D.D., 1934. 4to. pp. 242 numbered rectos only, some blank for notes> original photographs mounted. Cloth bound typescript, picture captions in manuscript. Also includes two manuscript documents between John Jaques and the Borough of Chipping Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and Charles Busby, coal merchant, dated 19th November 1829 and 23rd July 1831> the first a mortgage on a property, the second a one year lease. A detailed family history across the generations from 1638 to the twentieth century. Almost certainly produced for personal and family use in not more than a small handful of copies, possible the sole copy. No other reference to this family history has been traced either in the U.K. or the U.S.

Typescript, 1931. Small 4to. pp. 39> genealogical table. Rexine covers a little marked. The original typescript for this family history with a manuscript presentation note inserted "With Mr Fraser Campbells Compliments 22nd April 1935." Together with a short list of references apparently in the author's hand. NLS records a copy "Reproduced from typewriting" although this version appears to be the actual typewritten copy> an article with the same title appears in 'Family History Tracts' Society of Genealogists Vol. 20, Helensburgh, 1931, presumably the published version.
