Pressed gilt decoration (a little worn). The boards have scuffing, marks, rubbing. They are steady and sure. The contents are benign. The half-title page has a pencilled annotation marking its ownership at the Grand Lodge in Cape Town. The early and later pages have blotches of foxing. The subsequent pages have occasional smears, smudges of foxing here and there, but the text of the book remains unaffected.
