New York, Random House, 1941. First printing. Hardcover. pp. 187. 8vo. Bound in a thick beige cloth, with purple and black lettering and decoration (skulls and crossbones) to spine and front board. Illustrated with three black-and-white photos. Spine darkened and shows a bit of a slant, some light edgewear, a few spots, slightly shaken, two short tears to bottom edge of pg. 67, ink name and blind-stamp to ffep; good. No dustjacket. Kesselring's only successful play, Arsenic and Old Lace ran from 1941-44, and was adapted into a film by the same name, which was released after the play left Broadway. .
