Jerusalem, Israel. Very good condition, Recently reframed and preserved with acid free materials, metal frame and behind double mount, Sight h. 208 mm - w. 278 mm. Frame h. 38 cm. - w. 45 cm. Numbered with sticker 'M18-' and titled on the back. Signed lower right in Hebrew and English. Probably Mount Sion is depicted. Motke Blum was born in Romania in 1925. After years of forced labor under the Nazi regime he immigrated to Kibbutz Avukah, Palestine in 1944 . Motke graduated from Bezalel, Jerusalem, with honors. Motke has held over sixty solo exhibitions in Israel and all over the world and, also participated in many significant group exhibitions. His works can be found in the Israel Museum, Yad Vashem, the Haifa Museum, the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Washington Holocaust Museum, Museum Akko, Eilat Museum and more.

Frommel, Carl Ludwig
Innsbruck, Antique Handcoloured Engraving
In good overall condition, some discolouration due to its age. This is a usual yellowing of the paper. This original print is watercolored with harmonic colors and is realized with a sure touch, including an antique gilded cardboard passepartout. Image size: 213 mm. high – 288 mm. width (8.39 inch – 11.02 inch). Outside of the frame: 448 mm. high – 520 mm. width ( 17.64 inch – 20.47 inch). The back of the artwork is preserved with new acid free materials. The paper of the engraving is not glued on the backside. Karl Ludwig Frommel (Birkenfeld, 1789 – Inspringen1863) The German landscape painter and engraver, began his artistic career studing at Karlsruhe, under F. J. Becker and Haldenwang. He visited Paris, and earned a considerable reputation in Italy (1812–17). He was appointed professor at Karlsruhe where he founded the Society of Art and Industry. After a visit to London (1824) to acquaint himself with the technique of steel engraving, he opened a studio, with Henry Winkles at Karlsruhe. From 1830 to 1858 he was director of the gallery, which flourished.

Kenyon, Henry Rodman (1861-1926)
Pastel painting of a seascape, probably in Massachusetts.
c. 1900-1910, in excellent condition original artwork by the American artist, signed bottom right corner 'Kenyon', h. 150 mm. - w. 298 mm./ h. 5,9 inch.- w. 11,73 inch. The frame is in total h. 33,8 - 48,7 cm. / h. 13 inch. - w. 19 inch. Behind gold coloured passepartout and framed in gold coloured frame. The back of the artwork is preserved with new acid free materials. The frame is in excellent condition. More pictures, images on request. A rare piece of art, probably painted while he lived in Ipswich, Massachusetts. His wife Caroline Anita Savary (1864-1943), which he married in 1899, was a known pastel artist. The signature also fits to this period in his life.
