From the library of American literary agent Harold Ober with his address label mounted on the front endpaper. The initials "JB" are penciled on the label. Ober [1881-1959] worked for the Paul R. Reynolds Literary Agency where he represented Jack London and H. G. Wells. In 1929, he opened his own agency, Harold Ober Associates, representing such authors as F. Scott Fitzgerald, Agatha Christie, William Faulkner, Pearl Buck and J. D. Salinger. Good .
This issue contains an article on the Adagio Press by Leonard F. Bahr. Bahr [1934-1992]founded the press in 1956, working out of his home in Harper Woods, Michigan and specializing in fine and limited editions. He worked as an advertising typographer with George Willens and Company in Detroit for thirty-four years, retiring in 1991. Good .
