The very scarce second volume only of this publication. The first volume - not present here - was published twelve years earlier. The first edition of this account of Welsh bardic traditions, laws, and customs, said to have been passed down in the oral tradition, and written down in the sixteenth century. However, the authenticity of these manuscripts has been disputed, with many scholars believing that much of the material in was actually created by antiquarian Iolo Morganwg himself, based on his own interpretations of Welsh bardic traditions.Morganwg's works are here published for the first time by Anglican priest John Williams Ab Ithel for the Welsh Manuscripts Society. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to spine head and tail, with losses to cloth at spine head. Fading to back strip and board perimeters.
