A few local newspaper cuttings and pieces of ephemera are pasted in the rear of the volumes. Spine tips a little worn and paper labels a little chipped otherwise a Very Good sound set of a periodical rarely found complete.

Pedigrees of the County Families of Yorkshire.
W. Wilfred Head for the Compiler, 1874. 2 volumes. Large Folio. Folding pedigrees. Original red morocco backed cloth rather rubbed. The Declaration reads "This is one Thirty Largest Paper Copies which have been specially printed on this size and quality of paper." This is copy number 19, signed by Joseph Foster and W. Wilfred Head. Volume 1 comprises the West Riding> Volume 2 comprises the North and East Ridings. The most extensive published collection of local pedigrees by one of the nineteenth century's most important and prolific genealogists. The ordinary edition is scarce, this is the only copy of the "Largest Paper Edition" that I have seen.
