Plain, twice-stapled, self-wrappers bearing the distinctive red cross to the centre of the front cover. Comprises of a detailed list of the objectives of the Society as they sought to undertake a nationwide, peacetime "Membership Enrollment Campaign". Further includes a brief chronological synopsis of the founding and aims of the Red Cross Society, beginning with its origins in the Crimean Campaign, the history and involvement of Florence Nightingale, an accounting of the Canadian Red Cross' financial efforts during the First World War (referred to here simply as the "World War") including details related to its financial health (cash contributions, etc.), their efforts to secure food and render medical services to Canadian and allied prisoners of war, a detailed listing of the various national and provincial societies (Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Quebec, P.E.I. et al.), and the respective dates they joined the Society, the nature of the work carried out by each division. Light spotting, and neat period ink name and scrawl to the front cover, one page has come loose from the stapled binding (all pages present and accounted for), small chip to the heel of the spine, sound binding.
