View on the east wing of the Oranjezaal in Huis ten Bosch in The Hague with the representation of the triumph of Fredrik Hendrik on a cart led by four white horses. The original painting was ultimated in 1652. On the left two visitors in nineteenth century attire. Lettered below: 'ORANJEZAAL / OOSTKANT. / IN HET HUIS 'T BOSCH TE 'S GRAVENHAGE. / Gedrukt door J.F. Brugman' Signed on the bottom of the picture left and right: 'T.C. Bruining del. / F. Molenaar sculps.'l Etching and engraving on paper trimmed within plate mark, pasted on cardboard; total: 244 x 482 mm; state II/2, some slight tears and foldings along the margins, otherwise in very good conditions.

Without place, printer or date, it is stated where the booklets are for sale: "Is te bekomen te Amsterdam (...), Haarlem (...), Leiden (...) etc." [1772], 8vo., later hardcover with marbled paper and typed titleplate on the front, [4]+15+[3]pp., uncut edges with some smudges/stains on the first and last page, with a lovely endpiece and a striking ex libris print on the inside of the front cover: "J.J.A.Poley. F.Poley-Scheele, ex libris, de wetenschap is den verstandige licht" designed by graphic artist Johan Melse (1887-1968). Francina Poley-Scheele (1891-1987) was a writer and her first marriage was to J.J.A. Poley (1889-1951) who was a collector of books and prints concerning the Dutch province Zeeland.

Without place, printer or date [1747], 4to., later marbled paper cover, 34 pp., uncut and discoloured edges, but otherwise clear printwork with a lovely decorative vignette on the titlepage, an endpiece and a decorative initial. William IV (Willem Karel Hendrik Friso; 1 September 1711 - 22 October 1751) was Prince of Orange from birth and the first hereditary Stadtholder of all the United Provinces of the Netherlands from 1747 till his death in 1751.

Blindstamped vellum. Back slightly cracked, else a fine copy. [1] 2°: A4, with a full page engraved portrait of William IV and 4 double page engravings; [2] 2°: A-K2, paginated: 1-39, with 41 large double-page engravings. All plates engraved by Jan Punt (1711-1779). Both works appeared on the occasion of the death of Prince William IV of Orange in The Hague in the night of the 21st and 22nd October 1751. The first book has a description and four plates of the room in Huis ten Bosch with the death bed of the deceased and a ground plan of the same. The text of the second book -printed in both Dutch and French in two columns on each page- describes the funeral procession that took place on February 4th 1752 in Delft. Plate 41 is a large view of the Groote Markt in Delft with the New Church. B2280.
