Winsor was a historian and librarian, and was the founder of the American Library Association, and became its first president. Front board detached but present, spine lacking 2 inch piece from top, water staining to rear board and to margins of text, contents age-toned. Personal stamp of Justin Winsor, Cambridge, Mass. on title page. Fair/No Jacket.
