Nixon Versus the Student Movement. The Administration's Assault on Campus Political Activity. A Young Socialist Truth Kit
New York, Young Socialist Alliance, Publisher. Wraps. no date, circa 1970. Printed wraps. 16 pp. including covers. A brief work highlighting the efforts of Nixon and his administration to undermine, discredit and criminalize actions by college students in the "movement." The work prints J. Edgar Hoover's pearl clutching essay fretting on the "Red University," as well as promotes the YSA. The Young Socialist Alliance was the Trotskyist youth group of the Socialist Workers Party. It held a large influence in student antiwar activities in the late 60s/early 70s, but declined as the 1970s wore on. GOOD+ condition. Small puncture to the piece near the lower center edge. Minor toning. Good .
