The plates represent different illuminated mediaeval manuscripts of the Imitatio Christi. All 102 plates in superb chromolithography. One of the highlights of the 19th century printing and Gruel& Engelman production. Titelpage spotted and plate LXVII with some minor damage due to sticking one to another.
