One of the prints satirizing the South Sea Bubble of 1720 in Het groote tafereel der dwaasheid, Amsterdam, 1720. Probably by Romeyn de Hooghe.

Fol.º No. 68". Optics picture with a wintry scene on the frozen Amstelcanal in Amsterdam. People are skating and riding a sleigh; you can buy cake and zopie; left and right there are snowy roofs. Above the picture is printed ïn reverse the title "Vue de l'Amstel hor de la Ville d'Amsterdam". Beneath also the title in Dutch, French, Italian and German; under this left "Med. Fol. No. 68".
