This includes poets from Japan, Turkey, India, Pakistan, England and Europe, and the United States. This includes a piece by Errol Miller. Dr. Krishna Srinivas was an Indian poet who wrote in English, founding this journal in the 1960s, partly in an effort to promote peace through poetry. He also founded the World Poetry Society Intercontinental. GOOD+ condition. Some fading and toning to the wrappers and paper. Small note in ink on the front cover. Some scuffing along the spine. "A less than cheerful, albeit timely thought for the end of the 1960s. A poem reflecting on a military marching band and its music distracting from the horrors of war. VERY GOOD condition. This issue with a piece on guerrilla theater, a well as a printing of Gary Snyder's antiwar poem, "A Curse on the Men in Washington, Pentagon." GOOD+ condition. Horizontal fold crease present.
