It is attractively printed on heavy beige stock, with an illustrated border of magicians peforming etc. The illustrations are by Sid Lorraine and appear to be hand-colored. "Sid Lorraine -/74" is printed in the lower border. The sheet is tipped onto a larger pumpkin-colored piece of stiff card for protection. Rare and interesting item. Fine.

Pp. 87 + 29 ads, frontis port. with tissue guard, 12mo format, original decorated endpapers, original grey linen with black and red decorations with illustration of the author performing a card trick. A superb Nearly Fine original copy with no repairs, no owner's markings, no noticeable wear or fading to cloth. Only minor flaws are some age-darking to the edges of the text block, slight foxing to endpapers, and minor rippling to the linen cover cloth. It's doubtful that a better copy could be found. Very Good.
