A mimeographed style newspaper from Goddard College, chronicling various events at the school, as well as perspectives on current events, including a recollection of participation in a student march against the Vietnam War. With a letter from the editor pleading for help with the paper, as well as a letter from a new student wanting Goddard to live up to its progressive expectations. POOR/FAIR condition. Last page DETACHED. Heavy curling, chipping, creasing and tearing along the front cover and last page's extremities, mostly to the top. Front cover lightly foxed, with minor soiling. Light curling along the top edge. Minor toning to the paper. Poor .

A later issue of this pioneering underground newspaper, known as the Freep. Established in 1964, the paper was known for its coverage of the counterculture movement and radical politics, as well as its strong anti-Vietnam War stance. Financial and staffing troubles led to its eventual demise in 1978. This issue with the "Notes of a Dirty Old Man" column by Charles Bukowski (in the classified section); the transcript of a taped communique from the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) that discusses the thoughts and philosophies of the group as well as their version of events surrounding the armed fight with the LAPD on May 17th of that year. This includes a message from Tania (Patty Hearst). GOOD condition. Moderate general browning. Paper slightly brittle. Minor wrinkling along the extremities. Good .

A single issue of this little magazine noted for its experimental attempts at printing and typography, while adopting an editorial stance that anticipated Modernist work and used humor and nonsense to satirize literary culture at the time. This issue with a few short poems, essays and other work, including poetry style work titled "An Unfinished Chapter from the Anarchists." GOOD condition. Minor toning, soiling, wrinkling and edgewear. Minor chipping and tearing along the edges, with minor loss. Faint vertical fold crease present.
