The historical sketch of the first settlement of Middlebury was collected by the author at a meeting of several of the first residents. With a plan of Middlebury, a table of the home lots, a list of periodicals and original works published in Middlebury, a list of lawyers, physicians, stores, and more. Library stamp on title and last page, chipping to edges (partially affecting the author's signature), some scattered foxing, tear to lower edge of one of the leaves. A good copy. Scarce.
