Front cover detached from text-block, but present and well-preserved. The subject of intense historical debate, James Duthie and Lynch-Staunton present their respective, though opposing, views of the development of the ultimately successful endeavour to further develop the St. Lawrence Seaway to allow further expansion, and thus greater movement of goods, and increased trade with the vast international, and American market. At head, and base of title page, respectively: "A Deep Waterway to the Sea", "Every Lakeport a Seaport". Faint age-toning, some chipping to the edges of the front cover, contents without blemish with bright, clean, and unmarked. Corresponds to OCLC #49130433, 76880530, and 1080695092.
