Includes chapters on grain rotations, beans, maize and wheat culture, farm-yard manure, barns, cattle stalls, cattle pastured and soiled, observations on cattle, sheep, and hogs, fences, butter, rice, potato spirit and beer, thoughts on hired labourers, and more. Also includes an interesting recipe for Parmesan (Parmigiano) or Lodian cheese. Wear to extremities, several wormholes throughout (usually minor), plates I and II were excised, tear to plate V, some scattered soiling, owner's inscription on title. A fair copy. Uncommon.
