Dutch edition of "Der Untermensch", 52 pp. An extreme racist publication , issued as a propaganda-photomagazine by the main educational branch of the SS, directed by Heinrich Himmler. Using a lot of careful selected photomaterial the editors try to show that the as ugly creatures depicted Jews and Communists should be seen more as animals than as human beings. The publication was aimed at the German population to exploit their prejudice towards Jews and their fear of Bolsjewism. Publications like this were used as justification for the brutal way the SS operated in Poland and the Soviet Union during the Second World War.CONDITION: Very good copy with no marks or inscriptions inside. An overall clean and remarkably well preserved copy.

Utrecht, 1941. Nummer 12, 13 en 14 van de 1ste jaargang. O.a. gewijd aan de confrontatie tussen bewoners van de Jodenbuurt en de W.A. op 11 februari 1941 waarbij de W.A.-man Koot dodelijk gewond werd.en aan de Februaristaking. Met koppen o.a. als"De joden in hert ghetto", De politie moet worden gezuiverd" en "De W.A. op straat" Nummer 12 inclusief inlegvel van 4 pagina's gewijd aan de begrafenis van Koot. Alle nummers in goede staat, alle nummers met minieme scheurtjes in de rug, nr 12 idem en met enkele pagina's gerafeld langs de randen. De Weerbaarheidsafdeling (WA) was de geüniformeerde ordedienst en knokploeg van de Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging (NSB). In februari 1941 brak er een massale vechtpartij uit op het Waterlooplein in Amsterdam toen WA’ers paradeerden door de Jodenbuurt. WA-man Hendrik Koot raakte daarbij dodelijk gewond. De Duitse bezetters grepen dit aan voor de eerste grote razzia, die weliswaar protest opleverde van de bevolking in de vorm van de Februaristaking, maar uiteindelijk het begin vormde van de holocaust in Nederland. #.
