The typical K›rin patterns are characterised by simplified forms with prominent and smooth outlines. Aikawa Minwa, active 1806-21, is probably best known for his Manga hyaku-jo (Sketchbook of One Hundred Women 1814). Scarce. British Museum has a copy of this manual with slightly different title leaf but otherwise identical.
