circa [1980s]. [1980s]. - Two original watercolor paintings by the children's book author & illustrator Ann Gedney on 18 inch high by 14 inch wide art board. The first colorful painting depicts a young dragon skiing on clouds above a mountain ridge. The dragon, attired in a red striped Winter sweater and wool hat, looks back as if he's possibly left the mountain he was skiing down and is now airborne. A slim gray haired elf-like man, attired in a tan coat & green winter wool hat, is desperately clinging to one of the partially raised skis. Signed "Ann Gedney" in black ink at lower right.
