A delightful and lovely little book that includes B / W illustrations, poems / lyrics. An adventure in a small format. Compiled and edited with a foreward by Andrew Hunter. This booklet is a facsimile of a journal acquired by my [the author's grandfather Thomas Allen Hunter when he was travelling throughout the Canadian Prairies in the 1930s. This little journal belonge dto an individual Thomas referred to in his field notes as Billy. It contains drawings and poem / lyrics Billy attributed to another individual known as Luke the Drifter. In his field notes dated July 24, 1932, Thomas stated: "I believe Billy and Luke are one and the same, but I can't get him (them?) to admit this." Little Cockroach Press 14 June 1999.
