'Village of Unsettled Yearnings' harnesses these memories of a way of life to surviving records and gives them words in theis collection of essays, memoirs and tributes." Yarrow is a small farming community, now incorporated with Chilliwack BC. Its roots were largely formed by the Mennonites who emigrated from Russia but were German in heritage. This sizable paperback contains many stories of the old times, when Yarrow was young, a history written by the people themselves. There are still a couple of Mennonite churches in this small thriving community.. Very Good .
