The two volumes comprising Volume One of the set are Part One: Descriptive Topography and Geology by Willis, Blackwelder and Sargent (xiv, 353pp, xv), and Part Two: Petrography and Zoology by Eliot Blackwelder along with a Syllabary of Chinese Sounds by Friedrich Hirth (ix, Pp357-528, xxiv). Spines stained to both bindings of Volume One, which may very well have occured in the binding process when glue was applied to the backstrip. Volume Two (Systematic Geology) also has wear and tears to spine ends and is a bit sunned/faded around the spine, else very good. 4 kilograms unpacked -- extra shipping charges may apply!
