Handgeschreven, gesigneerde brief aan Huib van Krimpen op papier voorgedrukt met 'The Annual Better Late Than Never New Year's Card', gedateerd '18.V.97'.
14 x 22 cm. Geschreven in het Engels met rode viltstift. Vergezeld van een originele kalligrafie om Huib van Krimpen te feliciteren met zijn 80ste verjaardag (11 maart 1997!). En twee gedrukte kalligrafieën van Lowenstein, gedateerd 1996 en 1997. Met envelop. Lowenstein (geboren 1948), boek- en omslagontwerper (nog steeds!) voor uitgeverij Random House, schrijft Huib dat ze Museum Meermanno vaak heeft bezocht - Huib had zijn tachtigste verjaardag in het museum gevierd. Lowenstein heeft gebrek aan tijd en aan geduld: “This ‘getting older’ process is very strange….”.

Uit de collectie van Henk van Otterloo, de vriendelijke notaris-margedrukker-antiquaar uit Houten, die een groot fan was van Christopher Morley. Van Otterloo noemde zijn pers 'Green Escape Press' naar Morley's villa in landelijk New York, en hij drukte verschillende teksten van Morley.
