Coloured large illustration of the plane at top, coloured illustrations in side-margins of which Municipal Coat-of-Arms of Amsterdam and Batavia, Coloured flight track-map as centre-piece. INCORPORATED WITH the large coloured and lithographed Jigsaw puzzle featuring the flight track-map with 5 large portraits in upper right corner of the crew with in centre a portrait of Albert Plesman, Director Royal Dutch Airlines KLM. Complete and in very good condition, in a modern clothcovered boards box 31x16x10cm. Commemmorative lithographed piece celebrating the record Christmas/New Year's Post flight from Amsterdam to Batavia a (Capital of the Netherlands East Indies) and back, December 1933 by a Royal Dutch Airlines plane Fokker Type F. XVIII, Pelikaan, done by command of Albert Plesman, Director and effected by a four man crew Smirnoff, Soer, Grosfeld and Beukering. TOGETHER WITH the original Jigsaw Puzzle, seldomly found present.
