Copy inscribed by Frits Kief in ink, signed. On verso of f.e.p. Dutch language compilation of 45 shocking ploitical cartoons published by the communist Association De Vonk, publisher of the magazine De Vlam/ Strongly opposes dutch policies in post-war Indonesia, reflecting on the drama of the struggle for an independent Indonesia. De Vlam and De Vonk were established as a clandestine periodical at the beginning of the german nazi oppression of Holland, 1940-1945, by the dutch communist party. Good to very good copy. Scarce.
